If you're feeling stressed or tense, it will show in your photos and your video.
But if you're relaxed, happy, and fully present with the person you love, that's exactly what the camera will capture.
All I ask from my couples is to be themselves, to let go, and to share real moments of love and connection. In return, I’ll create timeless, beautiful images that you'll treasure for a lifetime.
Your trust, love and respect is paramount.

I can’t say this enough:
The most beautiful, memorable photos are the ones where you're not thinking about the camera — you're just living in the moment. Laughing, cuddling, joking, being completely present with each other.
If you're feeling overly self-conscious or tense, it will show in your photos. You might look a little stiff, or like something’s off and that’s not the version of you that you’ll love looking back on.
So here’s my advice: lean into each other. Be playful. Whisper something silly or sweet. That real, effortless joy, that’s what makes your photos feel alive. I can guide you and give you prompts to help you feel comfortable, but I can’t fake your connection. That part is all you.
The best photos don’t come from perfect poses, they come from genuine emotion.
1. Be present and in the moment!
2. Say your vows with heartfelt meaning.
3. Hold hands! so many couples forget to do this.
4. think abut your posture throughout the day. dont overthink it be aware particularly if you have rounded shoulders.
Think about how you are going to do your first kiss.
I've had couples practice before at home just so they get the perfect kiss shot.
Who needs an excuse to kiss ;) but don't do a massive dip! i've had a groom bend his bride so far back it looked awkward. Keep it simple.
Do what feels comfortable but make it meaningful, real and not rigid.
Remember to hold the kiss or have several so there is ample opps to photograph it. Enjoy it!
I get my couples to walk as it takes your mind off the camera, gives you something to do and makes you feel more confident.
When walking...
1. Look around at your surroundings, don't look down.
2. Feel like you look - beautiful! dapper!
3. Play with your dress or veil.
4. Give him flirty eyes, look at her lovingly...
5. Don't talk about serious things, be silly, say stuff to each other to laugh.
Some couples accidentally ruin their confetti photos by pulling strange faces. They squint, use the bouquet as a sheild which covers the brides face or they stop to pick confetti out of their mouth.
To nail this moment:
- Smile - Ignore any that goes in your mouth
- Look up at the confetti raining down and at your guests
- Stop for a sexy meaningful kiss - no weird dips though, they always look awkward and fake.
- Dont cheer 'woahhhhh' it makes your mouth go in an O shape which isnt flattering,
say' yayyyy or yeahhhh' or just smile!
- Walk slow!! and enjoy it!
Touch each other...
If you want lots of cute natural moments throughout the day, be affectionate all day.
Often couples aren't affectionate during cocktails, speeches...
Again just show love and affection to each other.
SO often couples go off in different directions after the first dance so don't forget to be with each other whilst i'm there and party together!
To help me give you photos that you'll look back on and love please help me by doing the following things...
1. Turn around and watch the entrances! so many grooms have their back to it and miss the bridesmaids and bride coming down the isle which is such a shame.
2. Look in love with your bride. Of course i know you are but your face in photos says everything!
Your face tells a story, so look at her lovingly.
3. During portraits... put your hand in a pocket, it looks relaxed and gives your hand something to do, and with the other hand touch your bride.
4. Don't look at the camera unless i ask you to. Just look dapper, cool, in love, happy!
5. Give portraits your all, this will be the only time in your life that you have to do this, a couple of 15-20 minutes slots through the day and you never have to do it again ;)
6.. NOTE TO FOBS, if you are walking your daughter down the aisle give a good strong arm for her to hold on to and smile. I have seen lots of arms flailing around and dads that don't look happy because of nerves.
.
Take a look at this here wedding, they embraced it and it was wonderful!
I love that they still went with an outdoor ceremony, it made for much more story telling images.
.
Bring the energy you want to see in your wedding photos, laugh loud, dance big, hold each other tight, and be fully present. Your joy, your love, your vibe, it all shows and your guests will feed of this and reflect it back.
The more you lean into the moment, the more your photos will radiate the magic you felt.
Don’t hold back, be exactly as excited, emotional, or wild as the day deserves.
